Knauf Supafil Blowing Wool is a premium glass mineral wool insulation designed for cavity wall applications, offering outstanding thermal performance, moisture resistance, and fire safety. Both Knauf Supafil 34 and Knauf Supafil 40 provide an efficient, non-combustible solution for insulating new and existing buildings, but their main difference lies in thermal conductivity and application suitability.

Knauf Supafil 34 Blowing Wool – With a lower thermal conductivity of 0.034 W/mK, Supafil 34 offers enhanced energy efficiency, making it ideal for new-build cavity walls where superior thermal performance is required to meet Building Regulations (Approved Document L).
Knauf Supafil 40 Blowing Wool – With a thermal conductivity of 0.040 W/mK, Supafil 40 is specifically designed for retrofit applications, making it perfect for existing cavity walls. It provides excellent heat retention and sound absorption, improving comfort levels in older buildings.

Both Supafil products are non-combustible (Euroclass A1 fire rating), ensuring maximum fire safety. Additionally, they are water-resistant, non-settling, and quick to install with minimal disruption.
