  Installation Notes:
  
• Ensure the top layer of material is continuous, with overlaps on vertical surfaces, fully wrapping pillars and penetrations before pouring screed
• Recommended for uneven slab compression layers
• Floating mortar must be strong enough to avoid cracking (see SPD No. 1.3)
• Allow 15–20 days for mortar curing before foot traffic
• For floating partitions, grout internal floating partition walls to maintain system stability (SPD No. 2.1)
• Avoid full penetration of door frames through floating mortar (DIT No. 439, fig. 13)
• If using self-levelling mortars, ensure membrane lies completely flat with no creases
