Soundproof buildings with acoustic insulation
Acoustic insulation reduces noise inside a building, protecting people working or living in the building who are exposed to unsafe levels of sound. There are two types of acoustic insulation: sound insulation and sound-absorbing insulation.
Soundproof insulation

It's also used to reduce noise pollution in environments with multiple conversations at the same time, such as restaurants or busy workplaces.
