Description

Novia® 1200 Gauge VirginPoly is a virgin grade, single-ply polythene Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL) designed for use in insulated walls, roofs, and floors where there is a moderate to high risk of interstitial condensation. Installed on the warm side of the building envelope, it provides very good resistance to moisture vapour and minimises air leakage, protecting structural timbers and improving long-term insulation performance.

Suitable for timber frame constructions, including garden rooms and buildings, Novia® 1200 Gauge VirginPoly is supplied multi-folded in wide 4m rolls and is translucent green for ease of installation to the framework. Fully compliant with BS EN 13984 and CE marked, it should be used alongside Novia® breather membranes on the cold side and correctly sealed with Novia® AVCL tapes for optimal air-tightness and energy-efficient construction.
