Fireshield achieves a reaction to fire classification of B-s1,d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1. 

Where can Fireshield be used?

It is suitable for rainscreen façades, external wall systems and multiple-storey buildings, installed directly onto sheathing or insulation. 

Is Fireshield vapour permeable?

Yes. It has an Sd value of 0.08 m, allowing water vapour to pass through the wall build-up. 

What water resistance does Fireshield provide?

Fireshield achieves a W1 classification for resistance to water penetration. 

How is Fireshield installed?

It is installed in the same way as a standard breather membrane and fixed mechanically to the substrate. 

Can Fireshield be used on taller buildings?

It is suitable for relevant applications in buildings over 18 m, or over 11 m in Scotland, subject to the project design and current regulations. 

Is Fireshield BBA certified?

Yes. Fireshield is covered by BBA Certificate 19/5653.
