Description

The FP302 Intustrap is a rubber-based product impregnated with graphite, engineered to seal off combustible elements while preserving fire compartmentation. It also serves as a key component in various Nullifire fire-stopping solutions, enhancing their performance and reliability.

Where to use

FP302 is a tested and proven closer device to be used around combustible pipes, insulated non-combustible pipes, and conduits (filled or empty). FP302 is suited to a range of combustible elements, up to a maximum diameter of 160 mm in floors, and 110 mm in walls. FP302 is required to be restrained within a suitably tested substrate or included within other Nullifire tested system solutions. These include but are not limited to : Rigid Walls and Floors, FB750 Intubatt and FR230 Intucompound.

How does Nullifire FP302 work?

When exposed to fire, FP302 expands and compresses the pipe, closing the gap and creating a fire-resistant seal to prevent the passage of fire and smoke.

Can Nullifire FP302 be used for all pipe materials?

FP302 is specifically designed for use with combustible plastic pipes. It is not suitable for metal pipes or non-combustible systems.

Does Nullifire FP302 require additional sealant?

Additional fire-resistant sealants may be required to seal the penetration around the pipe and strap, depending on the installation.
