Waterproof Breathable Membranes

Waterproof breathable membranes help protect roofs and walls from external moisture while allowing water vapour to escape from within the building structure. The right membrane depends on the application, required water resistance and vapour permeability, helping to manage moisture and reduce the risk of condensation within the construction.

Our range includes breathable roofing membranes such as Tyvek Supro, roof and wall breather membranes from Novia's Black+ range, and fire-rated breather membranes for compatible wall and façade systems. These provide options for pitched roofs, timber frame walls and external façades.

When choosing a membrane, consider its water-resistance classification, vapour permeability and suitability for the intended construction. Many products offer W1 resistance to water penetration, providing a secondary weather-resistant layer beneath roof coverings or behind external cladding.
