Installation Guidance

• Ensure all installations are completed before laying CONFORDAN BT, and level any unevenness greater than 3 mm over 1 m with levelling paste.
• Unroll the membrane in the direction of the flooring boards, cutting to size as needed.
• Overlap and seal joints using aluminium CONFORDAN adhesive tape to maintain insulation continuity and prevent moisture ingress.
• Fix the membrane to slabs, pillars, walls, or other structural elements where required.
• Allow floor planks to acclimatise for at least 48 hours in the installation room at a minimum of 17°C and relative humidity under 70%.
• Install the floating floor according to the flooring manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring expansion gaps are covered with skirting boards at least 15 mm thick, leaving a small gap or silicone bead to avoid acoustic bridging.
