Occasional water retention on exposed roofs must be avoided to prevent sediment build-up and potential membrane damage.

Plastomeric membranes require higher torch heat input than SBS membranes during welding.

Ensure proper detailing at parapets, drains, joints, and vertical upstands.

On metallic or slightly porous surfaces, a bituminous primer such as IMPRIDAN 100 must be applied before bonding.

Verify compatibility with thermal insulation before installation.

A geotextile separation layer should be used where thermal expansion may occur.

Do not spray polyurethane foam directly onto the waterproofing without a suitable separating layer (e.g. geotextile, mortar, or film).
