Important Recommendations:

• Ensure façade cladding finishes at dividing walls between different users (SPD 2.1).
• Avoid perforating the system with installations in specified commercial/ground-floor solutions (SPD 2.3, SPD 4.4).
• Partition walls should be plastered to a minimum thickness of 1 cm (SPD 3).
• Do not anchor partition walls directly to structural elements, except where permitted. Bond tiling elements to floating partitions for stability.
• Ceiling dampers must be anchored to joists or reinforced elements; use a grid for very heavy ceilings (SPD 4.2–4.3).
• Fix gypsum plasterboards to galvanised steel framing only — avoid plate-to-plate screws.
• For dry wall cladding above 4 m, use elastic fasteners (SPD 2.5).
• Position the aluminised side towards the cavity interior to maximise thermo-reflective benefits.
