Description

PERIPHERAL BAND 200mm is a closed-cell, cross-linked polyethylene strip (3 mm thick, 200 mm wide) used within IMPACTODAN® floor systems. It creates an elastic break between the floating mortar screed and perimeter walls, helping to prevent vibration and impact noise from transmitting into vertical elements. Its flexibility supports neat detailing around services, while resistance to moisture and vapour diffusion helps protect adjacent finishes. The band maintains system continuity (same base material as IMPACTODAN®) and performs reliably in radiant/underfloor heating builds by limiting thermal bridges at the screed–wall junction.
