Knauf Rocksilk® Rainscreen Slab - EE is a high-performance stone wool insulation solution designed specifically for use behind ventilated rainscreen façades. Suitable for use in external wall applications, it offers excellent thermal performance, acoustic absorption, and fire resistance, making it ideal for both new build and refurbishment projects. The “EE” (Enhanced Edge) variant features improved edge integrity, reducing slumping and simplifying installation, especially in vertical applications. Made with ECOSE® Technology, Rocksilk Rainscreen Slab - EE is manufactured with a bio-based binder, offering a more sustainable and less irritating product for installers. It is non-combustible with a Euroclass A2 reaction to fire rating, helping to improve the fire safety of the external building envelope while maintaining breathability and moisture management behind cladding systems.
