Description

The Siderise CBX Flexible Acoustic Void Barrier is a multi-layer quilt designed to limit airborne sound transmission through ceiling voids, particularly above partition lines. It features a central high-density acoustic membrane with an integrated anti-creep layer, enclosed between foil-faced glass fibre insulation.

This free-hanging solution helps address flanking paths in suspended ceiling systems and is used in both new construction and retrofit applications. Its surface mass of 10kg/m² and composite build enables a standalone airborne sound reduction of 33dB Rw (tested to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995). The product also achieves a reaction to fire classification of B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1.

The flexible composition allows for easy handling and fitting in constrained ceiling void spaces.
